Weekly Notables

from the Desk of Brian Bickett, CFP®

for the Week of June 26, 2019

Most of you that are clients have worked thru the Values Card exercise with me which helps to identify your top 5 values.  We then revisit these values when significant financial decisions need to be made to help ensure that YOUR financial life is in alignment with YOUR values.

Nicole & I have also completed the Values Card exercise which helped us better understand each other and truly has brought us closer.  My personal experience is that the results provide us with a comfortable, steady compass as we make decisions concerning where we spend our limited time and energy.

It has been enlightening to me to see the difference in the lives of both clients and my family when financial decisions are made thru the lens of what is truly most important to that individual.  It provides a sense of peace and a lack of second-guessing and regret that I believe many continue to seek.

Enjoy the ride of YOUR life!

The Money in Your 401(k) and IRA Accounts Doesn’t Belong Entirely to You

So, Just Who is Quianjiang Motorcycle?

Harley Davidson recently announced a partnership with the Chinese company to produce a 338cc “Baby Harley” for the Asian market.  The article also explores the global motorcycle market for 2018 which was fascinating: India was #1 with sales of 21.5 million with China at #2 with 15.5 million, whereas the U.S. was at 457,571.  Harley Davidson’s focus on breaking into the Asian market is likely what they need to subsidize their U.S. production.
