Summer Kick-Off…

Memorial Day marks the unofficial beginning of Summer even as the weather still feels like early Spring.  It’s hard to believe that the days will start to get shorter in just over 3 weeks from now.

For most of us, Summer is a short three-month sprint to squeeze in as many outdoor activities as possible.  My family is no different and we have become very deliberate with how we spend our summers.  We set priorities early on and do our best to spend our time in areas that are most important to us.   Life continues to happen, plans change and we adjust accordingly.  However, we always come back to what is most important to us.

One of my favorite quotes from Jim Rohn seems to fit this season well:

“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan.  And guess what they have planned for you, not much.”

Enjoy the ride of YOUR life!
