Benefits of having grit…

This week’s notable article on the importance of failing includes a list of ways to foster greater grit, resilience and well-being in children which includes:

  • Have them make their bed in the morning
  • Let them be bored
  • Encourage them to choose “hard goals”
  • Keep them humble
  • Get some perspective
  • Never stop learning
  • Consider what actually makes your kids happy

It is not much of a stretch to see how these can be applied to anyone regardless of age.

Enjoy the ride of YOUR life!
