Doing the work, the sequel…
This week’s notable finance article provides an assessment of how ready your heirs are for your eventual passing.
While not everyone is going to be comfortable with the level of sharing suggested by the article, it is of absolute importance that your heirs know where to find your written wishes and financial documents – even if you do not want to share the contents until your passing. This does require you to address the subject of your eventual death, organize and write down your wishes, and organize your financial documents.
The good news is that after this work is done, you will likely feel the release of anxiety knowing it’s taken care of, and you can then focus your energy on what is truly important to you today.
